Make history

Borgward Isabella TS 'Schreiber' cabriolet, year 1958. Colour blue metallic with a red leather interior and a black mohair soft top. This very special and beautiful Borgward Isabella was imported from the USA to the Netherlands in the year 1995. The automobile was fully restored and converted to convertible by the firm of Schreiber in Germany. The restoration was completed in the year 2005. Some history: from the year 1955 about 20 Isabella cabriolets were built by the firm of Deutsch in Cologne, Germany. These cars were based upon the Isabella coupe and the modification was designed by Johannes Deeskow. Remarkably the 'coupe' badge on the boot lid was continued and not replaced by a cabriolet badge. The firm of Schreiber restores and builds Isabella cabriolets to Deutsch specifications.
